Effective February 1, parking lots 16 and 22 will close to make way for the Segundo Infill Housing Project. This critical project supports our campus’s commitment to providing more on-campus student housing.
Starting on Jan. 20, new stop signs and supporting infrastructure will be installed at the intersections of La Rue Road with Garrod Drive and Bioletti Way, converting them into all-way stops.
Fall quarter is almost here! Plan for increased traffic and parking congestion as students return to campus. Between September 17 and 27, several events and activities will impact key parking facilities and surrounding areas.
On Thursday, May 16, campus began work on the Pavilion Parking Structure to restrict public vehicle and pedestrian access to levels 5 and 6 of the structure. Fencing will be installed on the ramps, elevators will no longer stop at levels 5 and 6 and the stairwell above the 4th floor will be locked. These levels will now only be accessible to campus-authorized vehicles.
A potential AMP Park security vulnerability was discovered and reported to Transportation Services and the Information Security Office on the evening of Tuesday, February 13. Upon notification of the issue, the developer of AMP Park, AIMS, took immediate action to address the vulnerability. There was no data breach, and no personally identifiable information was accessed.
