As early as Monday, April 6, Kleiber Hall Drive will be closed at Parking Lot 26 for the ongoing Big Shift Hot Water Project. Both directions will be detoured through Parking Lot 26 with most parking stalls within the lot being closed to facilitate safe bi-directional travel.
Those who normally park in Parking Lot 26 should consider parking either at Parking Lot 27 or the Pavilion Parking Structure for the duration of the project.
Beginning Dec. 15, 2025 and continuing into 2026, a portion of California Avenue near Cruess Hall will be closed to vehicular and bicycle through traffic. The closure extends from the intersection at North Quad to the intersection at Tennis Court Lane, near the campus gate.

On November 7, UC Davis Athletics will host schools from throughout the Sacramento Region at the UCUC Center for the Women’s Basketball game against Idaho State University.
The ongoing Hutchison Drive lane closure, in place just west of the La Rue Road intersection, is expected to impact traffic during the upcoming UC Davis football game against Idaho State on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to plan ahead for longer travel times and potential congestion.
