Transportation Services Awarded as an Accredited Parking Organization
The department is now ranked among the top 30% of municipal, university, and airport parking operations nationwide!
Thanks to the hard work of our students and staff, Transportation Services has been awarded as an Accredited Parking Organization (APO) through 2026 by the International Parking & Mobility Institute (IPMI) – a designation for parking, transportation, and mobility organizations that have achieved a comprehensive standard of excellence.
The APO program recognizes organizations that meet and exceed benchmark requirements in areas including customer service, professional development, sustainability and transportation demand management, and safety and security. To reach accreditation, Transportation Services worked with an APO site reviewer who presented evidence of achievements in 250 criteria.
Starting with the operational pivot to daily choice and the department’s commitment to innovative and sustainable programming, Transportation Services has helped to improve campus facilities with new technologies and reduce the number of drive-alone campus commuters.
Dr. Perry Eggleston, Executive Director of Transportation Services, commented “Accreditation is a tribute to each team member’s hard work and adherence to a set of high standards adopted by our industry.”
