Donations for Citations
Transportation Services, in partnership with The Pantry, is once again hosting the Donations for Citations food drive from Wednesday, Nov. 12, through Friday, Nov. 21.
This program gives members of the campus community the opportunity to donate qualified food and essential items to The Pantry instead of paying an eligible parking citation or invoice fee.
The ASUCD Pantry is a student-run, student-led organization that provides nutritious food and basic necessities—such as toiletries, soap and toothbrushes—to UC Davis students and employees. Last year’s Donations for Citations was the largest food drive in Pantry history, and this year’s goal is to collect even more donations to support Aggies in need.
If you don’t have a citation but still want to help, please donate to The Pantry.
How it Works
- Individuals can donate instead of paying for one citation (or invoice) per vehicle.
- Purchase the correct items and quantities using the donation guide below, depending on your citation type.
- Bring your items to The Pantry during the hours below and have your citation number in hand.
- Once the items are accepted by The Pantry (e.g., correct quantities, not expired/damaged), Transportation Services staff will dismiss your citation as a warning.
Donation Hours and Location
Nov. 12 - 21
10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Pantry in the Memorial Union
If you are not in a position to donate items, you may also volunteer your time instead of paying a parking citation. Shifts are roughly two hours, including volunteer training and a shift. Once you complete your shift, The Pantry will coordinate with Transportation Services to dismiss your citation as a warning.
