The Aggie Square Garage (ASG) provides parking for Aggie Square and other UCD/UC Davis Health employees, students, and residents.
UC Davis manages a portion of the parking permits for ASG, while a private operator oversees the remaining permits and handles the garage's overall operations.
Eligible UC Davis and UC Davis Health employees and students have access to discounted affiliate rates for parking in ASG.

Parking at ASG for UC Davis Students and Employees
Aggie Square Garage (ASG) permits are available via the HonkMobile app only. ASG permits are valid as noted below, but are not valid in any UC Davis Health lots or structures. Please note that monthly A, C, L, B or D permits and daily permits purchased for the Davis and/or UC Davis Health locations are not valid in Aggie Square Garage.

Getting Started with Honk
- Step 1: Download the HonkMobile app and create an account using your UC Davis or UC Davis Health email.
- Step 2: Use the app to search by Zone ID or follow the links below to check out online. At this step, you will be prompted to enter your CAS login to verify your eligibility.
- Step 3: Enter your vehicle information and complete the checkout process.
- Step 4: After purchase, you'll receive a barcode both in the app and via email. Use the barcode to enter and exit the garage.
- Tip: Take a screenshot of the barcode and increase your phone's brightness when scanning for easier access.
Resident Parking
UC Davis Student Housing and Dining Services (SHDS) will provide eligible ANOVA Aggie Square residents with instructions for requesting and purchasing permits for parking at ASG, prior to the start of the lease term.
Permits will be available for purchase on a monthly basis for the duration of the lease, and are for use only by the eligible resident. They are valid for the calendar month purchased, and will not be pro-rated and are non-refundable.

Parking for Non-University Affiliates
If you are a non-university affiliate visiting Aggie Square, parking is available in the Aggie Square Garage.
To access the garage
- Turn east from Stockton Boulevard onto 3rd Avenue. Continue east until you reach a dead end, then turn left into the garage.
- Visitors will enter the garage by pulling a ticket at the entrance. Don’t lose your ticket as you will need to scan it when you leave.

Event Parking at Aggie Square Garage
Departments hosting events at Aggie Square may obtain event parking for their guests.
Event parking is valid only at the Aggie Square Garage, and cannot be used elsewhere on the Davis campus or UC Davis Health locations.
- Attendee-Paid Event Permits
When a department is hosting events where guests will be purchasing their own permits, direct attendees to use the Honk app (see instructions above) to purchase a permit in Zone Code ASGGA.

Requires lead time for processing Departments may pay for event attendees to park in the Aggie Square Garage by setting up a Departmental Events account.
Complete the Departmental Events Account Application Form and list all employees who will be authorized to submit event requests for the department or unit. If you already have an account to request event services for the Davis Campus, you do not need to submit a separate request for Aggie Square Garage event services.
Applications may take up to five business days to process, and requestors may only be set up with access to one departmental account.Once the application is processed, all requestors listed will be sent instructions for logging in and submitting requests:
- Authorized requestor submits a request for “Aggie Square Garage – Department Hosted Permits” in the online system a minimum of three business days in advance of the event date.
- Transportation Services Event staff will process the request and provide a voucher code and instructions to pass on to guests
- The department instructs event guests to redeem their parking voucher in the HONK app.
- After the event, the department is billed for the actual number of permits claimed

- I already have a UC Davis monthly permit. Will my current permit work at ASG?
- No, a monthly permit for other UC Davis parking facilities will not work in ASG. You will need to purchase a monthly ASG permit to park in the garage.
- When can I purchase my monthly permit?
- Monthly permits for UC Davis employees working at Aggie Square are available for purchase between the 16th of the current month and the 15th of the following calendar month.
- Will my ASG permit work in other parking lots and garages on the Sacramento campus?
- No, ASG permits are not valid in other parking lots and garages on the Sacramento campus.
- What are my parking options if UC Davis affiliate permits for ASG are sold out for the day?
- If UC Davis affiliate permits for ASG are sold for the day, you have two options:
1. Purchase a permit in another parking facility on the Sacramento campus (lots 12, 17, and 30 are nearby).
2. Purchase a daily permit in ASG at the non-affiliate rate of $20. - Is there a pre-tax payment option for UC Davis employees?
- Yes! Davis and satellite campus employees can sign up for a Commuter Card, a pre-tax benefit account with a reloadable VISA card used to pay for qualified parking (including ASG permits) and public transit. The Sacramento campus is working on its own payroll deduction solution and will share more when it's ready to launch.
- Why are most ASG permits dual campus?
- Aggie Square is an exciting initiative that will include participation and collaboration by programs on both the Davis and Sacramento campuses. The dual campus permits will facilitate the seamless parking experience between the two campuses.
- Do I need to pay for parking if I have a disabled placard or plate?
- Yes. A valid permit is required to enter the garage and park in a disabled space. ASG is professionally operated by SP+ and follows different parking management policies than other UC Davis campus facilities.
- I'm having trouble accessing ASG affiliate rates in Honk. Who should I contact?
